ContextHarrington Junior School on Eadie Street in Harrington provided education to children aged between 7 and 11 years. It was originally known as Church Road Junior School, built in 1876 on Church Road; it was renamed Harrington Junior School on 1 February 1957. In September 2005 the school was merged with Harrington Infants School and Garth County Primary School, Salterbeck, to create a new school known as Beckstone Primary School.
